Zack Kinuthia is the Chief Administrative Secretary in the ministry of education. The outspoken former SONU President was appointed as the education CAS in January 2020 by President Uhuru Kenyatta becoming the youngest individual to hold the office. Kinuthia hails from Murang’a county.

Education background

After sitting for his KCPE, Zack received a letter to attend Kigumo Bendera High School in Murang’a. Unfortunately, the family did not raise enough finance for his school fees. He was forced to repeat Standard 8 as the mother sought the money for high school education.
