Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has advertised permanent jobs for interns and unemployed teachers.According Dr. Nancy Macharia, a total of 10,000 teachers will be employed in the coming mass recruitment.

In the recruitment, qualified primary school teachers will be promoted to secondary schools as a way of curbing teacher shortages facing public secondary schools.
During the interviews, intern teachers will have a reason to smile after the commission awarding them a total of 30 marks. However, they will be required to meet some conditions.
Among other requirements intern teachers will have to present the following documents which will serve as a proof for the 30 marks.
The documents include; Three payslips for 2020 and three for 2021, letter from the institution where he was detained, letter from the Regional Director of Education stating when the contract began.
For junior interns, they should present 3 payslips for 2020 (all real) and a letter from the Regional Director of Education showing when the contract started.
