Teachers have been handed an unusual gift by their employer, the Teachers Service Commission, which has remitted teachers’ wages at what appears to be the quickest period in history.
By 4 p.m. on June 14, 2022, at least 95% of banks had credited teachers’ bank accounts with June pay, implying that over 98 percent of instructors had received their dues.
