COVID 19 has affected the education sector in Kenya so much that up to date a group of learners are still at home. However the ministry of education recently announced the full reopening date to be on January fourth.
Many preparations are going on in the ministry being assisted with other education stakeholders like the Teachers Service Commission.
The ministry is expanding the learning environment in terms of making extra chairs and tables and building extra classrooms. On the other hand TSC is busy preparing the recruitment of additional teachers for the extra classes.
There are very many unemployed registered teachers who have been eagerly waiting for the commission to advertise the teaching vacancies in both public primary and secondary schools in Kenya.
Good news to them as the commission has advertised for six thousand six hundred and seventy four interns for both primary and secondary in December 2020.
Apllicants should apply online through the TSC recruitment portal. The deadline of the application is on fourteenth Monday December 2020.
