It is now six weeks since ministry of Education released Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. Parents and guardians are eagerly waiting for selection to start so that they can know which schools their sons and daughters will join comes the end of July.
According to the ministry of Education, selection of form one will officially begin on 28th May 2021.
President Uhuru Kenyatta confirmed that there will be 100% transition therefore all class eight graduates will be joining one of the secondary school across the country comes July.
However, the daily Nation have reported that delay in form one selection creates room for canvassing bearing in the mind Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education is out hence parents and guardians will tend to seek schools that performed well in 2020/2021 exams for their sons and daughters.
