Education CS George Magoha has indicated that Grade 4, Class 8 and Form 4 students will be reporting back to school on the 12th of October which will be on a Monday.

According to the time table laid out by the Ministry of Health, the Grade 4, Class 8 and the Form 4 will be learning for the next 11 weeks and will close the term on the 23rd of December just two days before Christmas.

The timetable also indicates that the Grade 4, Class 8 and the Form 4 will take a break from the 24th of December upto to 1st January of 2022. This means that the students will only break for one week before resuming for third term.

CS Magoha indicated that the KCPE for class 8 candidates will commence on the 22nd of March 2020 and will end on the 24th of the same month. In regards to the KCSE examinations, the Ministry of Education CS George Magoha has indicated that they will begin on the 25th of March 2020 and will end on the 16th of April 2020. The marking of the exams will begin on the 19th of April 2020 and will end on the 7th of May 2020.

CS George Magoha has instructed that all schools will have to adhere to the Covid-19 rules and regulations which include wearing of masks and setting up sanitisation booths. He Has also instructed that quarantine centres will have to be set up and also class should be fumigated before classes resume.
