Kenya National Examination Council has taken time to pay the Professionals they Contracted to supervise, invigilate, mark, manage and secure this year’s National examinations.
According to sources, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC),is expected to settle contracted proffessionals payments anytime from now.
This may be good news to these proffessionals who includes examiners, supervisors, invigilators, center managers,drivers and security officers.
According acting KNEC CEO Dr Mercy Karogo, the council hired more than 280,000 personnel.
Education CS George Magoha released both Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education but the council has not yet paid the workers.
