It has been a long year for the BOM teachers and other staff since the outbreak of covid 19 in the country. Their hopes have remained erect since the Government through the ministry of education assured them that they will be cushioned through their respective Schools Boards.
Although this has taken long with series of processes by the ministry to ensure accountability of the said funds to pay BOM teachers, the process seems to have been finalized.
The Ministry has now published number of the Registered BOM teachers for the pay in their respective schools in each and every county. This means that only those whose names appear in the said list will receive the pay.
With everything now put in place, the long awaited pay for the teachers is finally coming closer. Its reported that the lot will start receiving their monies before this month of August ends.
On the other hand, BOM teachers who feel that they qualify for the said payment but their names do not appear in the said list are advised to visit the county education director’s office in their work counties and register with their details.
