The government through Chief Administrative Secretary in charge in the Ministry of Education CAS Zack Kinuthia has finally given a clarification on the circumstances that led to Capitation to schools being reversed back to the ministry.

Taking to his Facebook page, the CAS while responding to a query on the same by a concerned Kenyan believably a teacher, he noted that there was a technical hitch which was being solved and soon everything will be okay.

The Money which had been released on Wednesday by the government had seen most Board of Management Teachers happy after having been without pay for over 4 months since schools were closed due to Corona virus pandemic in the country.

Teachers have asked the Government to hasten the release of the capitation which will see most teachers finally smile all the way to the bank.

If the information that was circulating is anything to go by, the ministry had only factored in operation fees in the capitation that had been sent out to school accounts. Tuition accounts had received only 1 shilling as part of the capitation.
