Good news land to the teachers who serves under the Teachers Service Commission and had not yet registered with the ongoing community based learning programs.

This comes after the TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia announced an extension of the registration deadline further by two more days from the day of this write up.

This act comes after an exemplary turn up of registration of the teachers. A total amounting to 224,494 teachers had registered two day prior to the initially set deadline of last Friday.

Impressing news have it that teachers who are vulnerable to pandemics, that is, those who are aged 58 years and above will be exempted from the exercise.

“Those teachers above 58 years should keep off this programme unless they volunteer to do so and observe the health protocols”, KUPPET secretary general Akello Misori said.

The guidelines requires teachers to organise learners according to their age to make sure that the topic under discussion are relevant.

Topics to be engaged in discussion includes how to keep yourself safe from the pandemic, wedding, cultivation and grazing skills
