A section of students who sat for last year Kenya certificate for primary Education(KCPE) might miss the form one section to the school of their choice due to limted space in the various learning facilities.
Many of the students selected the major faimous schools in the country and tried to avoid the newly promoted schools to the national leval.
Officials who have been tasked with placing the students to various schools have said that they have come up with the creteria where some students will be placed in the schools wich they did not select.
They however advised the parents to encourange their children to attend the schools they have been placed by the minstry of Education.
“That is common phenomenon in Kenya wich is wrong.All schools are the same whether public or national schools,”he stated.
Knut secretary Willson sossion urged the students not to waste time and quickly join the schools wich they will be selected and continue with their studies.
The students widely avoided schools in areas such as Turkana, Mandera,Wajir, west pokot,Lamu and Tana river.
However schools such as Mangu, Lenana School, Kenya High and Alliance saw a huge number of selection from students.
However during the release of the results Education CS Professor Magoha had stated that all the 1,179,182 million candidates would transition into secondary schools
