Beatrice Wabuba is the Head of Corporate Communication at the Teachers Service Commission, TSC. She has been in the office since January, 2020 after taking over from Kihumba.

Education Background

Betty Wababu was born and bred in Chogoria, Meru. She attended DEB primary school before proceeding to Mukweni high school for secondary education. Later joined Kaaga Girls High School where she sat her Advanced Level of Education -‘A’ level.

Betty went to the University of Nairobi where she graduated with a Diploma in Public Relations. She later joined Daystar University for a undergraduate studies in Bachelor of Art in Public Relations. Before graduation of her undergraduate studies, she enrolled for Masters degree Art in Corporate Commission in the same University.

Currently she is enrolled for a PHD degree in organization leadership leadership at the Management University of Africa.

In her early 40s Betty is married to a little known Julius. She is blessed with four daughters and one son.

Betty Wababu is the current Head of Corporate Commission at TSC. She was appointed to her position in January, 2020. However, Wababu has come a long way before her appointment to TSC.

After her graduation from University of Nairobi, she worked at NSSF in the communication department.

Betty has also been in class. She was posted to Katangi High School in Machakos where she briefly worked as untrained teacher. She taught her favourite subjects History and CRE. She has also worked at Wapcom Venture Limited as the CEO and chief trainer.

Beatrice is a Communication and Public Relation expert, with over 15 years experience in both the public and private sector. She is a transformational life coach, a mentor and a motivational speaker too.
